Can you bring a Cell Phone to Basic Training?

 Yes. You can bring your cell phone with you to basic training for the drill sergeants will return it to you on the weekends during White Phase. You should also bring your cell phone charger too, since your phone is locked away into storage for a long period of time. 

Also, the most important reason you need to bring your cell phone is in case of an emergency. Sometimes things unexpectedly happen during the transportation process and you need to contact your recruiter for guidance in case you lose track of your group, or find yourself lost at the airport, or miss the greyhound bus.

So again, YES, YES and YES!!!

But also, it's also at the description of the drill sergeants to allow phone privilege's but otherwise you still need to have your cell phone in case of an emergency during the ship out process to basic training.
