How long is Basic Combat Training?

Basic Combat Training is a 10-week training course that consists of three phases: red, white and blue. Each phase is three weeks long. The Army has four active bct installations. 

  1. Fort Jackson, South Carolina
  2. Fort Sill, Oklahoma
  3. Fort Benning, Georgia
  4. Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri
After completing bct, the recruits will then be taken to their AIT school to learn about their MOS.
