Earning the U.S. Army Patch Upon Graduating Basic Combat Training

Over ten weeks of Basic Combat Training, there are many events and accomplishments that trainees must complete in order to be called a Soldier. The grand finale of this transition from civilian to Soldier is the Soldier Induction Ceremony at the conclusion of the Forge field training exercise. Here they will don their beret and place the U.S. Army patch on their uniform signifying that they have completed all requirements for graduation.
